Open Notifications from the console bell. Preferences belong to the current WorkOS user within the selected workspace, so changing one workspace does not overwrite another.

Team, security, billing, provider, webhook, MCP, and system events are stored with a source identity. The unread badge is calculated from persisted rows, and marking one or all items read updates that state on the server.

Enable or disable in-app and email delivery for each category. Email is delivered asynchronously through Cloudflare Email Service. Transient rate limits and server failures use bounded exponential retries; validation and authentication failures stop instead of retrying forever.

• A failed preference update leaves the previous server value in place.
• A discarded email delivery remains operational evidence; it does not turn an already successful workspace action into a customer-visible failure.
• WorkOS invitation email remains authoritative for accepting a team invitation.

Send a test invitation, confirm that it appears in the notification inbox, and verify the delivery category preference you intend to use in production.
